I copy and pasted Rod's blog to an email and sent it to my wife. Not 20 min later her supervisor calls me to tell me that my wife WILL be going with us to Lynchburg. My wife is feeling the excitement that I did last Fri.

Me...I gotta get on the road, headed to Hedgesville, WV this weekend.

We plan on pulling in Thursday morning sometime. Trying to line up a reservation at Mary Bobo's and already have a hotel a few miles away in Manchester for Thursday night. We'll be onsite Friday night as usual and look forward to meeting as many teams as possible. Good luck to all we don't get a chance to meet in person.

Official team check-in is usually from 12pm - 2pm on Friday followed by the cook's meeting at 2pm. Parade line-up is usually Friday afternoon around 4pm - 5pm. Parade goes to the visitor center and you get on busses to go to the dinner on the hill there.

I got an e-mail from the "Jack" today, with alot of info! looking real forward to it! Our reservation for Miss Mary BoBo's is Thursday at 1 as well.

Not that I have a problem with it, but I must have had a dozen people this weekend warn me about the local law enforcement really cracking down on folks "red cuppin' it" last year at the Jack! I never noticed it in 2008 when I was there, I know its a dry county, but maybe some first-timers could use a "heads up"?
