So the last time a posted a thread was 8/09/20 and that was also after a long absence. Life has a way of getting busier than I think it will sometimes. I find myself still cooking all the time but drop of in other areas such as forums, YouTube and such. I’ve been back following the group lately and it’s great to see what folks are doing. I’ve missed y’all and it’s great to see all the tasty treats everyone’s been making. With getting the MIL moved in, the property and the animals pretty squared away and logging slowing down for the season I hope to be around more often.

Had a pretty big group over for the kiddo’s birthday celebrations last week and I’ll share some pics.

Had 31lb pig, 4 pork butts served with rice spicy veggies rolls and some big fruit platters.

Sounds like a great time.
We had fun indeed!
Great food, friends, and family.

Like that pig roaster setup.
I’ve never put a whole pig in the offset before but it worked great. I slid the grate out and turned it end for end one. I foiled the outside and finished it on its back after I got the color I wanted.

Bet that tasted fantastic
It was quite tasty.

I see you haven't lost your touch. Nice to see you back and that things are still going well.
Thanks! It was a lot of fun.
