Good morning all.

Like you, I experiment like a mad scientist when it comes to sauces, rubs, marinades, etc. I had an Ah-Ha! moment yesterday when I made a black cherry bbq sauce for the baby backs I'll be smoking this afternoon.

Here are the ingredients

1 cup water with black cherry syrup to taste
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup A-1 Steak Sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar

Simmer to boil over medium heat. Then reduce to low and let simmer for 6-8 minutes. Let cool and refrigerate.

This stuff is mind glowingly delicious! I cannot wait to try it out on my ribs tonight.

Enjoy.

Peace, slider

If you have a Lidle supermarket, they have a cherry bbq sauce thats pretty good and cheap.
