At that price. looks like one hell of a deal to me. I picked up 10 bags of Kingsford last year at HD for $4 each. Shoulda gotten more it went pretty fast. I did give half of it away though...always a nice guy.

bought 4 bags, havent used in a drum yet, however if it stays at 200 that may not be a bad thing to offset some of the turbo power of a drum, but i would also think to light more at the beginning to get the temp higher

HD has signs up for the holiday weekend - Ranger $2.99/20Lb bag. I bought 100 Lb's

Just about thru the supply of old Kingsford. Need to see if this Ranger stuff will become the new house-charcoal

I've been reading on the various forums about this charcoal... All of the comments were favorable. So being down to my last 4 bags of Royal Oak briquettes (sp?)... picked up 14 20lb bags @$2.99 ea... Got home and read more good comments and said what the heck, went back and bought 16 more bags... That should last me the summer at least!

Hope it is as good as I've heard!
