Must be a northeast thing...
It's an event held by Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT. 31 teams, most vend food (a nice change to pick up several thousand dollars), LOTS of free craft beer for the teams. They used to have more teams, but due to construction space is now quite tight, so it's hard to get in. Agreeing to vend food both days tends to help teams get in. (Vermont has a "weekend" fair stand health permit, making it a lot easier to vend vs. other states in the northeast where it's nearly impossible unless you have a commercial kitchen or a vendor truck)
