I just picked up some uncut beef short ribs to smoke for either tomorrow or Sunday (weather permitting.) I'm hoping for decent weather on Sunday.

Oh dear, the alarm on my Maverick didn't warn me of a spike in temp!!! I woke up to look at it and it was 380 grill and 220 internal on my picnic! Doh.
I pulled it and it fell apart not a total loss but it is a bit dry. I think I will have to make some BBQ sauce and see if I can rescue the situation!

Turned out not too bad!

Well after a potential disaster I have managed to rescue the butt! Lesson learned belly fed so all is well that ends well!

Tonight bone in ribeye at Padawan's Place,tomorrow a little wedding BBQ for Padawan's Brother...sunday probably nothing.
