I had a touch of E. Coli a couple of weeks ago and drank alcohol trying to self medicate. That seems to have snuffed it out. Did a little digging around on the web and found this.

We only buy ground beef at Sprouts, they grind the clod right there.

I also have not bought "production" ground beef in a long time. I have been wavering on getting a dedicated meat grinder but I miss making burgers and this E-coli crap (intended) makes me wary.

A lot of us do grind our own, and a lot of us don't. Passing on the info for those who had t seen it yet.

I know that restaurant depot sells this brand, at least they do at the Cincinnati OH store, I bought a 10 lb package on Saturday. I have no idea if they sell it in the 80/60 lb boxes that are involved in the recall. Just a heads up, I know a lot of brethren shop there.
