Griddle Anyone ?

Do you have an infrared surface gauge? 350-375 is the highest I'd go. Beyond that the seasoning risks getting ruined. Soon as cooking is done either cut off heat to the griddle via your cookers internals or remove the griddle from the heat. Don't let it stay in/on the heat.

Got one of those -

Thanks for tip on removing from heat - I can just pull the other grate and slide over away from the coals

Interesting with the grease pan. Is it flat on both sides?

Bought a couple griddles/racks for the 22 decades ago. Was flat on one side and ribbed on the other. Never used the flat side. Weber stopped offering them long ago...not sure why. Will take a pic next time in the back shed. Sort of a vintage Weber accessory.

Haven't seen 1buckie post here in many years. Had an incredible collection of classic Weber kettles/accessories. Thinking back, not sure even he had the griddle/rack.
