I've made this before. It's fairly easy to put together and friends seem to like it.
I call it Pepper Gravy Fondue, for lack of a better idea. lol
This time I sauteed some mushrooms in garlic butter...
pan seared bologna cubes...
next, some smoked sausage...
fried chicken bites...
then chickenfried some steak strips...
Made a skillet gravy with the drippin's...
started my build...
Starting from the bottom... with the smoked sausage..
counter clock wise.... sauteed mushrooms, little biscuits, smoked italian meatballs..
cubed ham, more mushrooms, fried chicken...
charred bologna, chickenfried steak, bacon wrapped meatballs...
tatoes, maple sausages, pepperoncini here and there... that's about it!
I had to try a smoked sausage first...
and then a chickenfried steak...
next a biscuit dipped in gravy...
It's hard to pick a favorite, but the biscuits and chickenfried steak were hard to walk away from. lol
Thanks for looking!
Great looking cook! We are always looking for something new to serve at “Christmas Cheer” (our grown kids name for our family get together on Christmas Day). Will have to try this at the next one.
