Favorite music to BBQ to

I finished painting some awesome flames on my UDS today...
Pics please. :mod:

I like listening to the blues, especially Mississippi Delta blues. A man, a mic & a guitar is all it takes. I also dig some good reggae while smoking, but I usually end up listening to the kids playing outside.

I also like to listen to the white noise of my C-PAP while I sleep on overnight cooks.

BH,

Great pic. Love the UDS, love the dog, love the beer.

One complaint as a Red Wing's fan (born & raised in Hockeytown)

Isn't Colorado where the Av's are kept?

:p

Yep, two time Stanley cup winners.

Cheyenne lets me know when I'm about to mess up some BBQ. She keeps me on track.

BTW, you do know the Red Wings suck right?:p:p:p

I am a Local Talk Radio guy, or dare I say it NPR. I am a Prairie Home Companion Fan, I do like to listen to that.

70's rock, AC/DC, Nugent, Frampton, Floyd, Bad Co, Aerosmith, SRV, BTO, Seger and so on. I guess it's more of the screamin guitar for me. I had an air guitar once, but my girlfriend hid it from me, said I was "off key".

On the weekends it's KGON.. classic rock blocks. During the week KINK, music from the sixties to present. Changing vinyl is a PITA when cooking and cracking beers!

KGON is good one.

+1 on the Mississippi Delta Blues and the Chicago Blues.

When I play I am electric, but at least I play through one of the most classic blues amps of all time, a Marshall JTM-45.

Most times it's Blues. On Sundays, it's oldies from 12-6 on The Fox 92.3 out of El Paso and sometimes it's KONO 101 out of San Antonio.

Course it can pretty much anything from country to 80's. Just depends on the mood.

Well my BBQ Ipod play list includes ac/dc, avenged seventhfold, CCR, BB king, some country (garth brooks, tim mcgraw and a few others), some ZZ top (including Bar-b-q, surprised nobody has this one on their list) and here are a couple of Canadian country artists I like

The Roadhammers "East Bound and Down"

Paul Brandt "Convoy"

And to me the ultimate song for low and slow Q

WIDE variety. My MP3 player has lots of blues, R&B, Rock and roll from the 60's to present day, Some Buffett, some Tom Waits, a little of almost everything except opera or disco. Bout 5 or 6 days straight of music

I usually try and tone it down in the evening so as not to PO my neighbors though

Thanks for those links MattG!:thumb:
