Nothing wrong with pellet cookers. I love cooking on a stickburner but my schedule rarely allows for it. When I want to play with fire, I use my Santa Maria. For long cooks the pellet cooker is my go to. At first the lighter smoke flavor was noticeable, especially on larger cuts like brisket or pork shoulder but after a while, I think there is more than enough smoke flavor. Great choice of cooker.

Looks great!....I too love easy....Bought a RecTec last year and that's pretty much all I use now....Got tired of the early mornings and late nights, plus I don't have the "big bashes" like I used to....With age comes wisdom!!
