Doe’s Eat Place 3lb Porterhouse

On a golf trip with some buddies and stopped on the road at Doe’s. Not the original, but one of the franchise locations.

4 of us split 2 of the 3lbers.

Filet on the left, strip on the right.

All done

They do fried drop biscuits. More like donuts than biscuits.

Not bad, but. Great cut of meat. I would have preferred it with a bit of a char or crust.

My salesman took me there for lunch one time. I told him I would eat the whole thing, but he didn't believe me. I proved him wrong.
