Been On A Burger Making Binge--Two Meats

Just as JSPERK is on the quest for the "perfect pizza" and his pizzas rock regardless, I'm on the same mission for the perfect burger. Now, for the most part I'm very satisfied with the burgers I do but the quest continues and it's a fun one as you can imagine.


So, since the two meats TD is going down I decided on a two meat burger

Casings off the sausage and beef seasoned with my favorite rub, Q-Salt from Naturiffic. You guys need to get you some. "I put that sh*t on everything." Oh wait, that's Frank's Red Hot slogan. Well it's Q-Salt for me.

Mixed together well and it was smelling some kind of fine

Made two burgers and the patties were 10 oz's each :nod:

Hmmmm..... PBJ got the call since it was the closest to reach :becky:

Went 16Adams style with mesquite :thumb:

In the meantime I made some spread

Sliced some of my homemade bacon

They went on the PBJ

Next came the patties

Then the pretzel buns to toast :clap2::clap2::clap2:

I say they were toasted

One of the patties

Some cheddar and monboissie cheese

It was assembly time starting with the spread

Red onions and spring mix

Bacon and the patty w/ the cheeses

And a fried egg. Served with criss cut fries

Pop!!! Egg ooze everywhere :-D

150IT due to the pork in the patty but dang juicy still :thumb:

I was about full here

Enjoyed with some good suds from Wyoming

Thanks! It def was good. Not your common burger patty texture but dang good. Especially if you like pork as much as I do. :-D

Great looking burger there Sako! I live messing aroud with burger blends as well but I have not tried Italian sausage. I have done chorizo a few times.
