Jeremy (4ever3) posted a cook of these a short while back. And boy did they look good.

Was at thwalmarts and saw one pack of these left so I grabbed them.

Grabbed the almost empty bottle of Salt Lick Garlic Rub. No idea why they call it garlic rub and not SPICY rub. But either way, good stuff!

Got lazy today, into the FEC they go.

About an hour and a half in. Plenty of smoke in the FEC...

All done. These were good. Way more meat than your normal beef back rib and a lot quicker than short ribs. Little over 2hrs at 300.

Nice & juicy, little kick from the peppery rub. Probed tender, but probably could have gone an extra 15-20 minutes.

As always, thanks for looking.

Glad ya tried them Andy!

For what ya pay they really aren’t bad, and as an added bonus you now have roasted bones to make bone broth with!

Never saw those. Gunna have to check the local Wallyworld.
Yours sure look tasty.

They looks a great feed, are they beef shorts without much beef?

No, they're not short ribs. They're on the small side, to give you an idea of size, the pics of the "racklets" are on a 1/4 size cooling rack. 8.5"x12"

Here's another pic of the backside:

I've never seen those out here... thoroughly interesting.

Those look great, Andy.
Yep, I've never seen them before. After Jeremy posted I kept an eye out and found a single package one day. Not sure if they don't carry them often or if they sell out fast?
