It's Gloven for me every time. I have thrown away the welders gloves and the oven mitts

I have some of the Steven Raichlen gloves. They can stand the heat but, they are too slick. The surface needed some texture.

Picked these up recently. I have very large hands. They fit these gloves, and the fabric lining helps with removing. They would likely accommodate a slightly larger hand.
They are slick, but that seems to be a common trait among these glove types
Awesome idea man...you've solved a very big problem...no need to wash the nitrile and the wool gloves will keep my tootsies nice and happy, although they're so burned and damaged from BBQ it almost doesn't matter :mrgreen:
I got the idea from different members on this forum. I used to use the long Dexter/mortician looking gloves, but you just dont get the same finger dexterity or feel of the wool glove with nitrile over top of it.
I do the same thing but I get my stuff from Big Poppa Smokers:
12 knit cotton hot gloves for $6.50.
100 Nitrile Gloves Black (5ml) for $7.85.
Works great and is cheap.
