Hi all,

Have not posted here for a few months. I have been hibernating all winter.
I did manage to bbq over the winter. I went through three 20 lb bags of Weber charcoal. It’s not fun cooking chicken or steak or anything on a bbq at -35 C.

Spring came early (so far) here in my neck of the woods in Canada. I’m getting ready for bbq season with much anxiety and impatience. Weber charcoal is in good supply here in Canada it seems, but I expect another summer shortage due to covid so I got 10 bags of it last week along with 1 bag of Kingsford original just to have for the quick hots and hams cooks.

I also purchased a pizza kit for the weber kettle. Hoping to use it soon when it warms up more. Anybody else have one of these? I can’t wait to try it out.

In closing, bring on summer and let’s fire up the grills!

Yeah, I don't do much in the winter either. Mostly gasser.

But spring is just around the corner. I have a nice whole picanha from Wild Fork to smoke up a la Malcolm Reed.

I hear ya on wanting to get out in the better weather. I have a garage addition with an overhead door so I still run the rec tec through the winter and stick out the door a bit. Still not the same as though
