Has anyone has the diffuser stone in their akorn break? Its held up for a year or two of use and is so thick I thought it would last. Yesterday I smoked some corned beef and it was fine, this morning I went out to fire it back up and it was cracked. Seems very sudden since it didn't get over 300F on it yesterday. There was a very brief sprinkle that moved through the area so I'm sure a few drops made it in the top vent but it couldn't have been much.
Any suggestions for putting it back together? I'm thinking maybe some mechanics wire just wrapped around it.
