Mid october is the Ohio Smoked Meats Festival (comp)... We could do a bash at the comp in nelsonville... very pretty that time of the year.

Walt, come on respectible and pOSU in the same sentence... I only have to ask whatever happened to Clarett and Katzenmoyer ??

Also, if I am a Football player what would I rather be, A Wolverine (mean and nasty) or a buckeye (a farking nut) ooooh the Buckeyes are coming to town this week look out, they may crack their shell on us!!:lol:

Funny you should say that. I would say we've cracked our shells on the rodents and the toga guys both for sometime now....

Clarett is one of those rare low lifes that comes through anywhere, unfortunately..

Katzenmoyer hurt his neck severely. Not much else to say...

And now with LLLLLLoyd gone, this year might see that school up north at least try to win.

Who are the Toga guys ?? If you are referring to MSU- I think they gave up football a few years back...

As far as beating the Wolverines, even a blind squirel finds a nut sometimes...

Lloyd Carr and Jim Tressel were walking on the beach one day talking about the state of college football and they ran across a bottle that had washed up on shore. Sweater Vest picked it up and rubbed it and out came a Genie. Both coaches were amazed. The Genie told each of them that they only had 1 wish. After much thought, Sweater Vest said he would like a huge wall built around the state of Ohio to keep all of the people from Michigan out. And the genie made it happen. The genie then looked at Lloyd and asked him what he would like for a wish. Without hesitation Lloyd said, "Fill it with water"....

I was hoping it would be closer than the bowels of Ohio.

Im not a collegiate football fan at all.

Hell I can probably get Eagle Park for a bash site.

is this thread about a bash or about football??

and yes, there are several hundred if not thousands of places to have a bash. why not let bob (and me) try to plan this one and if ya'll want to organize another bash someplace else, go for it. a bash at a comp is just a... well it's a comp. does a bash have to be a comp? maybe i don't understand the whole bash thing.

anyway... we were talking about either having this gig at my house or at my friend vinny's restaurant/bar/carryout depending on the weather and how many people and we choose the date to be after the comp season and around the veterans day weekend and since veterans day is on tuesday this year, it would be a 4 day weekend.

here's my setup
