Hubs said there was a distinct sweet flavor. I chalk it up to the peach nectar injection. He didn't know I did that so I feel his obsevation is valid.
If you like a sweet finish to your pork just simmer one can of Goya peach nectar with a sprinkle of your rub a dash of salt and minced onion.
Bring it to a simmer and then strain it to remove the flex of peppers and onion.
Inject as usual I let mine sit for an hour maybe an hour and a half while I was waiting for the rain to stop.
It definitely takes a peach profile so if you like peach give it a try it's definitely good definitely a nectar sweet finish
