Contest Announcment 2nd Annual Parkinson's Smoke Out - Evansville, Indiana April 3-5 2014

The 2nd Annual Parkinson's Smoke Out will be a 3 day event with live music, beer garden and silent auction. New for this year we have two neurological specialists coming to host a seminar on Parkinson's Disease.

This past April was a huge success and I aim to make every year a little bigger and a lot better. :thumb:

The prize purse is $10,000 and I'm paying 10 spots in all categories, Grand and Reserve Grand.

This is a benefit for Parkinson's Disease Foundation and any donations are greatly appreciated.

I had a thought the other day while talking with one of last years competitors. Being as this is a benefit for Parkinson's Disease research and some spots along the river are better than others, what do you think about auctioning off spots.

Say you want a particular location, you pay an extra $20 for it. If someone else wants that spot then the auction begins, the guy/gal that pays more gets it. What do you think? If this is a good idea, I'll mark each location this year and if you want that number at the 2015 event you'll simply request it on your entry. I would then contact the head cook if there were to be an auction for that spot.
