First off, I'd like to thank Tarhog for a great out of the box TD idea. We need more creative categories like this!

It's going to be fun to see how creative people get with their budgets as well as the dishes they cook.

OK, back to our regular kooky banter! :twitch:

Kooky?!?

Receipts are not required. If you want to provide a photo of a receipt, that is fine. Nobodies integrity is in question. I just want people to shop and compare what they are spending their hard earned money on.
No special rules. Let the voters decide.

I think I read a while back that the integrity of the brethren was in doubt.

Being the thoughtless American that I am, I did not consider that this is a global site. Yes this Throwdown is in Yankee dollars. So whatever the exchange rate in your country is ( you figure it out ) it should be under 15 bucks.

I think what bucc meant is that actual food items cost a lot more down under, regardless of exchange rates. It's a matter of buying power, not currency value.

But, since the voters won't know that, the Aussies should probably just set their own budget based on what they consider "on a budget" means where they live.
