The winning group will be decided by a tally of most votes, i.e. if the Noobs have the most collective votes, the Noobs win. Of course, that's not likely to happen. :becky:

This is my official entry. Hope I don't screw this up being such a newb.
This is a grilled pork chop topped with grilled fruit salsa sitting on a bed of quinoa with brown rice. To the side is some grilled asparagus, along with a honey mustard sauce. Enjoy.

Nice entry, freespool, is that mango on the grill with the pineapple? Good idea. Love that you used quinoa! The pork chop has a nice crust and the whole plating is beautiful.

Kathy, yep that is mango. It stuck to the grill a bit and got softer than I wanted but worked well. I added a fresh red bell pepper to the salsa before plating for color and crispness.

This is my entry photo...

Its pulled pork on a toasted English muffin drizzled with my homemade vinegary bbq sauce with a side of roasted potatoes. I braved multiple thunderstorms for this cook, and it tasted awesome. Sadly, all I had was phone for camera so I took a hit on photo quality. Check out the link above for the thread about my cook. Thanks! And good luck to all of us noobs who entered! :clap2:

scummybear -- loved the long version, don't worry about taking up space rambling in the TD thread, nobody else worries about doing that, especially me -- that is a very fine looking PP sammie, beautiful smoke ring and I like the idea of a lighter texture vinegar based sauce -- the roasted potatoes look really good, mmmmmm
