Great looking eggs Redheart! I would have hit those hard if I had the choice. Especially compared to the cereal and yogurt I just gagged down... :doh:

Been wanting to enter one of these dont have time to on this one. Somebody wants an idea of something cool to enter. Smoke up some scotch eggs.
done properly they show good technical skills and besides pork makes everything better

Fried Rice has egg doesn't it?

Made some fried rice, then cupped and poached an egg on top all in the kettle and served with marinated beef short ribs and stir fried veggies as sides...

Posted the marinade HERE

Making the fried rice

poaching

dusted with five spice

the beef marinade

marinated

stir fry stuff

on the kettle to 160

Add the marinade to braize

cooked and ready to plate

And served. Forgot this wasn't the farked up mess TD...

It may not be purty but it shore was goooooooooood.:becky:

Now THAT'S a meal.

Since there was already a hot grill going after deguerre finished his fried rice and short ribs I figured I would throw some eggs on. I started with thin ham slices pushed into muffin tins.

Sauteed up some mushrooms and spinach (and separately some red bell pepper and green onion - no pic of that).

Mixed the sauteed veggies with eggs and cheese.

Then filled the ham cups with egg mixture and onto the grill.

They set up pretty quickly.

And I had to post this one just because it was funny...look in the bottom left corner of the pic, those are egg shells from Guerry's cook, he's so messy!

They came out really good, especially considering that it was just done on a whim I had.

I think I like this pic the best.
