4.3lb chuck i split into 3 steaks & quick seared over pecan & skeet then wrapped @ 500 for 15 mins w/ balsy,worchy,garlic,onion,fajita spice,& my secret steak spice... mushrooms in the wrap.
mashed then roasted garlic,rosemary,& basil taters.
there was a salad involved but it didn't fit the plate & what was the point... it's meat fire & taters....:twisted:

That is a STEAK. Is this one going in the Throwdown? Cause' it should.

Blues' garlic,rosemary,& basil taters

boil 8-10 med sized taters(skin on)
drain in a big bowl
add 1 cup butter
2 cups milk
1 cup feta or asiago(any crumbly white cheese of your choice)
2 tbsp each rosemary,basil, & garlic.
not mash but pound,chop, & dice w/ a spatula(add crumbled bacon if ya like)
pour in a small cake pan(sprayed w/ butter or oil) & mash flat
sprinkle parsley for color
spray oil or spritz butter across top
bake @ 400 for 30 mins
then broil @500 for 15 or until browned or crisped....
 
How tender was it. My wife makes roasts out of chuck, I have never grilled one?
