Started two packers, on the drum, then got called in to work because a bad storm knocked the power out. I wrapped them up and put them in a cooler. I'll finish them , if I ever get home, and post some finished pics.

Here's what came with the rain.

Had an obstruction on the way to work.

When everything cleared out, it made for some pretty scenery.

Leave it to work to get in the way of smoking. Looks like a pretty intense storm hit though. Can't wait to see those briskets cooked though.

I'm working on them again. Looks like I'm stuck at work until at least noon, tomorrow. The storm was pretty bad, but it almost vanished, it left so quick.

Whoa! Looks like one crazy storm to bring down a power line like that along with some hail!
But the brisket looks great!

How long do you think it would take to cook a brisket on the end of a downed power line??

Here i thought i could give you grief for letting some rain get in the way of smoking a brisket  sounds like you kept at it! :becky: P.S the brisket looks great!
