Default Hawgin' on Lanier pics

So last year I judged like 20+ contests and took lot's of pictures and posted reports. This year I'm cooking at least a dozen comps and finding it's hard to remember to take pics during all of the madness.

Luckily my wife grabbed the camera this weekend so I have something to post!


Located north of Atlanta on Lake Lanier this is a great venue.






Threat of rain all weekend but it wasn't that bad.

Father and Son team of judges cooked with me this weekend. They got a real "eye-opener". Thought my ribs were are 9's. Four other judges thought otherwise.







Why are they smiling during chicken prep??? Sick Farkers!


Cooked all 4 meats on the G2 Party. Held 225 all night long. I love it. Blue light tells me the Stoker fan is on.

Those ribs were 9s, the farking judges would not have known a good rib if it bit them in the a$$.

Who was that good looking fat boy in the orange shirt? Oh that's me. We were just laid back watching Dave's team do all the hard work. We had a great time at this comp. The Pot-Luck dinner Fri wasn't to bad either.

I think we used pecan...maybe pressure treated....all I remember is that it started with a "p".
