I know most people here would say propane/gas bbq is sacrilege. And don't get me wrong, I love my 'Dera.

But, I happened upon this thing at Sams yesterday. Man did it look sweet. A real strong door latch to completely seal this thing up tight. Two drawers for pellets or chips. Pretty good sized cooking area.

If you could convert this thing to a charcoal/wood fired pit this thing would probably rock, especially for the price.

I saw that one to at Sam's Club here in Canada.
I gave it a good once over. It looks cool.
Looks like high maintance though with all that S/S.
It would be interesting to hear from someone that has one!!

Nice looking patio you got there Neil.

So when is the pool gonna be ready?

I saw that thing in Sam's a coupla weeks ago. It looked good but, overlooking the FUEL source issue (grin), I found the metal to be a little thin for my taste. Let us know how she runs!

I didn't buy one, so no that isn't my patio!

I wish that was my patio!

I too would be interesting to hear how it ran, but I doubt anyone on here has one. Agreed keeping it sparkly would be an issue...but then again, we don't keep our pits a nice black for long either...little rust here...little rust there.

I would bet you could beef up the bottom area where it holds the propane tank to actually hold a real fire. But since it's not designed for wood, I don't think the airflow would be very good (went back and looked at it again). I think you'd be stuck with gas. Probably could still turn out some pretty good q on it though.

Oh well...I ain't got time to buy it anyway!
