Hello All,
My sister is getting married in Maui and coming here to celebrate (next week Wed 8-25) with the family (maybe about 6? that are close by) that couldn’t make it to the ceremony. I was thinking of making some pulled pork sliders with those Hawaiian buns and some sort of Spam treat. So I am hoping that someone out there will know how to make some Spam treats? And what other kinds of Hawaiian flavor profiles and sides would be appropriate with the pork sliders? Thank you for any help you can give!

In Austin we actually have a festival known as "Spamarama."
Oldest festival of its kind. I think like 30 years even!

A popular Hawaiian recipe is the spam sushi roll known as Musubi.

Spam Kabobs for sure! Genius! I also thought I saw something about cutting diamond shapes into the "loaf" and putting rub and brown sugar on it... ?

Spam musubi's!! Sooooo good.

Smoke up spam slices, brush a little BBQ sauce on them as a glaze, and put on top of sticky rice (preformed/compressed) with a wrap of nori (nori is the seaweed wrap holding it together). Sooooo goooood.....

Here's a pic I found online to show you:

Lots of great ideas guys! I am sure the checkout person will be wondering what's with all the spam.... does anybody buy, say 4-5 cans at a time, and not draw attention? Should be fun!

My other half is the Spam Queen. She even has a trophy to prove it. She cooked Spambalaya, Spam-a-Roni Pizzas, and Spam Quiche. If I can find the recipes I'll send them on.
