"Happy Phriday Pharkers,what's Smoking this Weekend?"

Fall is here and the cold weather is creeping up. Time for chili. I'm doing Malcolm Reed's smoked chili recipe (again). Technically I did it yesterday, made 8qts in my dutch oven so I will have some to freeze. I used 5lbs of chuck roast and 1lb of hot breakfast sausage. His recipe is excellent.
 
Something bland. Last cancer treatment Thursday kinda kicked my backside. Been rainy here so good chili makin' weather but pretty sure my stomach won't think that's a good idea.
 
Smoked the vegetables for spaghetti sauce last night. Was going to cook spareribs today but the two stores I went to only had STL cut and loin backs, so it's chili tonight. Going to see if they have spareribs tomorrow if I'm out.
