Second cook on the Shirley....Brisket!

So, this is my second cook on my new cooker. My luck on my first and second cooks have brought rain. So I had the EZ up in place. I used the 2x4 mod to keep water from puddling over the front of the cooker.

She was crusing along between 275 and 310 for pretty much most of the cook.

I had a butt and chuck on. Then a brisket.

So far, this cooker is a breeze to run. :becky: We're loving it! :thumb:
 
That's a nice brisket. My first few cooks were in the rain too. I agree the Shirley is almost too easy to run.
 
Looks like you did real good on the brisky with the new Shirley.

ill be doing my first cook on mine very soon...should be done any day now....
