I'm hoping for more like 30". ~ 700 sq in v. ~ 450 on the XL. That seams worth a separate model. 26" would be ~ 530, that seams like a waste. 28" would be ~ 615. That's a pretty big difference too.

Now I gotta start warming the wife up to the idea...

Looking foreword to seeing the specs
I always felt the largest one they have now is to shallow,
making it so you have to have a heat deflector in order to slow cook on it.

Better be REAL careful about burping THAT one!:scared:

More info on BGE site. From the site:

"Chefs and backyard grillers alike will be astonished to see a stainless steel cooking grid that measures 29.25 inches / 74.3 cm in diameter for a whopping 672 square inches / 4336 cm2 of cooking area."

My XL is a baby compared to that monster!

OK so unless this picture is a joke, this thing is MASSIVE!

With St Patricks Day quickly approaching,
Where did they find the Leprechaun to pose for that picture?
And is that big green thing behind Him filled with Gold?

I think I want one!! Any clue when they will hit the Market and what the price will be?

From the looks of that photo, you'd just about have to stand on a stool to do the cooking. Sure that can't be right, but still looks gargantuan. Gives new meaning to 'super-sized'.
