BBQ Bandit
Babbling Farker
Talking about a strange method to the madness....
Was looking on the Food channel - at the "5 ingredient fix" ... a segment on Spanish tapas.
Well after curiosity struck me... looked it up - appetizers. OK... another inspiration struck me.
This was the basic recipe consisting of the following;
1. garbanzo beans
2. olive oil
3. paprika
4. cumin
5. salt.
Drain, rinse, and dry the beans thoroughly
Mix all the ingredients and transfer to a parchment lined sheet.
Bake at 400* for 35-45 minutes..
I read "bbq rub"... don't you?
How about a bbq flavored 3 INGREDIENT FIX... in less than an hour?
Garbonzo beans, olive oil, and your preferred rub of the day?
(Excellent source of fiber, protein with reduced fat)
Pics in a little while...
