Got some more done on the smoker today. I am finally over my cold for the most part and needed to get cranking on this again. In these pics you can see the “heat dump” and I also have the exhaust welded up and just set on the smoker for a look see of what it will look like. Handles are on and you can see the holes drilled on the main handle for airflow.

What is a heat dump and why would you want to "dump" heat :)

seriously though Im' confused but I love the photos and the build!

For when you put a log in you can open this up and have all the ash go out the "dump" and also if your cook is getting to hot you can open it up and let some heat out. It is more a thing the buyer wanted, with the way this seals he will have total control over the fire by the air in-lets. What the customer wants the customer gets :becky:

That came out great. Need two more sets of pics before shipping. One with paint and one cooking.

Very nice.

That sir, is high quality, well crafted and just dang great looking!

Ok sorta pic heavy however I wanted to get all the angles. In these you can see some little things I have done to make this unique. I used a chipping hammerhead for the handle on the exhaust damper, along with all the handles are cut from chipping hammers as well. Not much else to say that the pics don’t say. It smoked great and had plenty of temp control throughout this process. Next is prepping it for paint and putting on a little cover for the therm that I forgot to do before this.
