I got some more done on Laquishia so I figured I would throw up some pics. You can see in this pic I have rails installed and I got the dam on the reverse plate down in the second pic.

Thanks for lookin! Should get a lot done this coming week so it may go fast and furious….(cross fingers)

Really nice. I like the design and would really like to build one. Serious lack of welding equipment though. I've just got a little wire feed.....

THat is looking great. Given the size, I am guessing there will be at least two maybe three racks? To get the smoke distributed evenly to all three will there be different level smoke exhausts into and out of the chamber?
Look forward to seeing this go along.
Thanks,
Rick

Thx
Now thats looking sweet :thumb:

It only has 2 racks in it Rick. Also it will only have one smoke stack at grate level, that should give a nice even flow of smoke...thx for lookin

Thanks, I see I missed the photo with the answer of racks. Really like this. Got me thinking.

nice job MR F. You build a great UDS, I know from experience. I may have to have you fix me up in a few years!

Thx Pigdog I can hook you up a lot cheaper then you think. This one is going to Montana for a slim price tag but it gets them out there.

Got an update on the smoker build. Had some time yesterday and today to get a good amount done on it so I thought I would throw up some pics of it. What you don’t see here is the racks are completely done with handles and also a support was welded in to the bttm of the smoker. Door is also welded up just need to hit some spots with a grinder. Thanks for lookin

Wheels are finished. I used a cut off from a 8in pipe and then made the spokes.
