You gonna FLALL.? Cut the short ends off and just butt them up- much easier. Interlock the long sides........if you wanna hide the fasteners shoot narrow crown staples in the grooves of the long side, make sure they sit flush. That’s how I did it at work, at home I just shot the edges with finish nails.

Miter saw/ chop saw really helps. They have specific blades for laminate flooring - reg blade can chip edges.........drill and jig saw for outlet/switch cutouts - get right blade for jigsaw too.....
I had to extend all my switches and outlets boxes -Home Depot has plastic extenders you add to existing box......
