At approximately what weight does a hog start to become an issue in a 24 inch diameter smoker. I know length is the primary issue, but I would think at some point diameter starts to play into the equation.

2nd attempt this coming weekend

I did a 34lber in my 20x40 tejas smoker Memorial Day. it JUST did fit head on! will try to post pics.

It was butterflied and on its back.

I have seen quite a few 40-60 pounders with head off on 24" pits lately.
