So the smash burger craving hit this morning, like bad. Ran up to the store and purchased the essentials. Made the sauce. Prepped the onions. Then the forecast changed and it’s supposed to rain all evening.

So my question to you fellow Brethren, is do I move the kettle to the edge, maybe slightly inside the garage to avoid the rain as I won’t use the lid? It’s a super simple smash on cast iron griddle that will cook up in no time, which is why the lid won’t be used.

I know that in case of a flair up, some gets put immediately back on and vents get shut.
