What type of garnish do you prefer in your box

I am just getting started to compete. I have been looking at different teams turn in boxes and see so many different types of lettuce. What is the best one to use?

For KCBS most teams either use parsley or green leaf lettuce boxes. Some actually do a combo. There isn't a best one, just whatever is easiest and works best for you. I say go grab some parsley and green leaf lettuce and experiment :grin:.

We just use parsley...make a nice flat putting green on the bottom of the box. Watch the height so that when u put your meat in it doesn't touch the top of the box.
