Weber 22.5" Grill Grate

I want to replace my current grill grate on my 22.5" Weber charcoal grill, but all I've been able to find are the nickle plated grates. This one on Amazon says it's stainless steel, but there are a lot of comments saying it's just plated steel. Any thoughts on this grate? Or can you find actual stainless steel grates anywhere?

I was in the same boat for my drum. I wanted a stainless grate to fit perfectly, and I didn't want the flip-up edges that Weber has on their 22".

So I had a guy make one. It's beautiful and I'd do it again

Awesome. My current grate is hinged and I love it. It's 3-4 years old and is looking pretty rough.

304 stainless isn't cheap and will not rust so I would say it's a decent price.

Yes. Weber's stainless 22.5" grate (which you can only order by calling them) is around $70 shipped.

Go to Walmart get a hinged grate for your Weber grill no problem will work just fine it's just bbq

Bought my weber grate at blows (Lowe's) and it seasond up really nice and works well.. Mine is just nickle plated but I keep it clean and a little oiled up after use so it wont rust on me and the oil makes it way easier to clean for next use.

I'm kinda weirded out by people who need to buy new grates within 4 years???
Either-
1.They are not cooking enough - or
2. Cleaning their grates like madmen.

NO NEED. Keep those oils and black whatever on the grates, it
prevents rusting.
Just clean a bit before cooking, but not much.
That is all. I have 20 year old crusted over grates,
heck some sit outside and refuse to rust - because they are seasoned!

EDIT. Looks like this link was posted above earlier. I have purchased this item and it's a quality part. He also sells 304 charcoal baskets that are really nice.
