Does anyone with a flat botton UDS use their UDS on a treated lumbeer deck? If so, what do you put under it to protect the wood?
Remove the motor from an old "walk-behind" mower and use it
as a UDS dolly.
Don't tell me I ain't redneck.
When I replaced the decking boards on my primary deck with composite boards, I built an extension off the deck with treated deck boards. On my old deck I had burn marks where pieces of lit charcoal would fall through the chimney when I went to add it to my UDS. I didn't want holes burned into the composite decking.I built mine on wheels, It has around 6" clearance from my trex deck. I still use a automotive drip tray (approx. 3' by 4") to catch drips/ash.
Not a UDS... my burn barrel.
