Turn in food overlap

Is it ok to overlap food in a turn in box. As in fish fillets or larger pieces of pork? What I mean is it ok for the pieces to touch. Most boxes besides brisket everything is separated.

Yes they can touch. Many people fan the brisket slices or pork slices.
