Tonite's dinner prepared on the Goldens' Cast Iron -
> Top Round Roast, seasoned with Worcestershire and Montreal Steak
> Roasted Carrots with Garlic and Herbs
> Roasted Sweet Potatoes seasoned with EVOO, S&P
I used the searing plate covered with foil for this cook, brought the temp up to around 340 as measured with the Smoke. Probe inserted into the roast, set for an internal temperature of 125. Not much to do other than sit back and wait.
Near the end of the cook, just about ready to take off and let rest -
After resting, quite juicy (too much flash, sorry) -
And plated -
Another successful mid-week cook on the Goldens! (The Bubba Keg's not getting much love these days.)
