I have a Shirley 24x36 too, you will really enjoy cooking on that Pit. Some people will line the baffle at the bottom of the cook chamber with foil.....I don't. I just use a wide putty blade / joint compound knife to scrape the plate and let the drippings "season" it.

Hello! Just got the email from Tyler last night that my place in line for build has finally come up!!! Going with 24x42 patio with warmer. Will post pics when it gets done.
