South African Braai Wood

Just wondering as anybody tried smoking with the South African Braai Woods like Kameeldoring, Mopane, Rooikrans, Sekelbos, etc.
Can't make my mind up to try a little in my UDS. :twitch:

I would be all over that, the Camel Thorn reads very well.

I only know mopane, but haven't used it for smoking.
It's definitely a hard wood and burns for ever. It can be a bit difficult to light.
We have used it on campfires and tend to start off with making a good fire and then adding mopane logs.
Not sure if this helps in any way...
