Just some finger food on the drum.

I couldn't decide if I wanted bacon wrapped corn or regular ole spicy corn so I went with both this time.

Drizzled with olive oil, seasoned then wrapped with bacon and sprinkled with more black pepper...

I raised the hot coal rack in the drum and seasoned the pot with crab boil, salt, fresh lemon juice, cayenne, onions, garlic....then added the tatoes and smoked sausage.

There were just 4 of us but we didn't leave many leftovers. It was a nice way to spend the evening.
It was messy but good. :-D

Thanks for looking!

:eusa_clap:eusa_clapOh yeah!!! I love crawfish. Last time I had them was down in Louisiana when I was working there. That was over 5 years ago. There's nothing better than a crawfish boil!!! With all the fixens! Your bringing back memory's cowgirl!! Good ones !

All I can say is I'm moving to OK. Nellie is sure going to miss me. Nice cook Jeanie.

Thanks Marty! Come on out there's plenty of room. :becky:

Thanks so much! Glad to hear the memories were good ones. I bet the crawfish you had in La were wondereful! Hope you get to cook some before another 5 years goes by. :becky:

There is a seafood boil somewhere in my near future - and it's all because of you! That just looks incredible Jeanie, and an evening with friends munching down on that sounds like a most excellent way to pass the time.

Oh yes that looks fine as wine. Love me some Shiner too. It is hard to find here so when I finds it I stocks up. What is your seasoning for the crab/shrimp/crawfish boil?

Greg, thank you! I hope you take pics for me when you have your boil. Better yet, I'll drive out there and mooch off of ya. :-D

Thank you Dave and Matt! :-D

Thanks so much Cheez! I used some Swamp Fire made in Louisiana. It was recommended by Brethren Cajun Ty awhile back. I like the stuff, it has a nice kick. Sometimes I use Lousiana brand Crab boil too.
I also season the pot with salt, cayenne, fresh lemon juice, garlic, onions and smoked sausage.

I get frozen ones here off season too. Fresh caught are my favorite though. Not sure if you can get them shipped from the gulf but I bet they would be expensive. Good luck! :-D

That's heaven right there Jeanie. Love the bacon corn. Killer!!

Thanks so much Sako!

Looks amazing Jen!!!! I would take that over BBQ any day of the week.. And twice on Sunday!!!! Looks so good... Love that kind of grub... Hope all is well with you Jen...
Thank you Paul, good to see ya! Hope all is going well with you too. :thumb:
