The family took a week vacation while camping, it was cold but good food kept us happy. We did a rack of st Louis ribs with humphrys sap sucker rub and half a pork shoulder with sap sucker again. I used a 18" smokey Joe and a weber charcoal basket. It was very hands on, adding a chunk of wood every 30 minutes and more brickets. It maintained temps great though, 325 for hot and fast. It was fun and good food, and great family time, that's the important stuff, right?

You did well. I’ll take the WSJ over the green Colman stove any day. Damn that picture brings back memories of pumping the fuel chamber over and over and over....

What's wrong with pumping the stove? I prefer that over the propane adapter I have.
