I think you encountered a paranormal phenomenon. Seems off that your IT would be that low with atmosphere around it that hot for that long. I would have it glazed, scratch a baby jesus image into it and sell it to the Vatican.

I put a butt on this morning five hours ago and it's already at 146. Going to slow it down, using a Traeger 075 at 225. Bringing it down to 180 for a while.
