I recently purchased a Masterbuilt 40" Electric smoker I have only used it 3 times now. The first 2 times I over cooked the meat (Ribs/Chicken) so I decided to check the internal temps compared to what I had it set on. After checking the temps I learned my smoker runs 25 degrees hottie then what I have it set on. Do you think I should get this fixed I do have warranty? My thought was to just leave it since the highest setting is 275 which would give me to ability to cook at 300.

PS: Once I learned the temp difference I smoked some chicken legs and thighs that turned out awesome.

As long as you know aprox. temps you should be good.

Example my stove in our house reads about 30° less than what you get at anything over 300°.

I put a gauge on the rack and use it every day. No problem.
