Salmon smoked on Weber kettle. Dry brined in salt/brown sugar; dusted with paprika tarragon rub; smoked with apple wood at 225 for 40 minutes; served with caper horseradish sauce.
Fishing Blues - with fingerpicking guitar and wife on fiddle. Taj Mahal's version. Song written by Chris Smith 1911, first recorded "Ragtime Texas" Thomas 1928.

And it looks like I missed the deadline for entry to the throwdown, which apparently was noon CST. I assumed "through Monday Nov 14" meant until the end of the day. Guess I shoulda read all the fine print.
But it sure did taste good.
