You can always put a layer of foil on the bottom. The holes will be outta site, outta mind. Plus it will make clean up easy.

Yeah I guess or maybe get some fire bricks but they can be expensive :mmph:

Stainless steel bolt and nut will fill them up. Or use job weld.
